Computer Security & Viruses/download failed on 2 programs due to error

I have XP Home Edition with SP 2, two running anti-virus/adware-spyware programs (Hauri ViRobot Dektop 5.5 and free version of ThreatFire from PC Tools), I use CCleaner and System Mechanic 6 for registry maintenance & PC tuneup.
I am having some trouble with downloading two programs, as follows: (1) Spyware Doctor from PC Tools. During install the following error message pops up: Runtime Error (at-1:0):Cannot Import dll:CDOCUME*1SteenLOCALS*
Tempis-K42SG.tmpgtapi.dll (I used "*" twice in place of a little squiggly line). It should be noted that I also tried to download Registry Mechanic from PC Tools and the same error occurs. I have downloaded from PC Tools in the past with no problems. (2) Avant Browser. In this case the download completes but when I try to open Avant, the following message pops up (sorry in advance for the lengthy error message full of who knows what):

Any ideas of what cause these problems and how to correct them?

Which build of Avant are you trying to install? There was a problem with older versions. The latest is 11.6 Build 20. The download is located here:
http://www.avantbrowser.com/
The PC Tools problem could be related to a licensing error. You may have previously had the program installed and was not completely uninstalled before upgrading to the newer version. I would contact them regarding this issue. Copy your error into a question in the forums here:
