Question Hi!
Let me explain my situation.I was trying to open up.rar file so googled for winrar free edition and open a website but later realized that i was infected because one wesite was continuosly trying to get into my system called IE antivirus and all the time i try to open any website I got diverted to a page linking to IE-ANTIVIRUS. My operating system is XP and I have AVG anti virus and spyware free edition installed already but after I scan my computer with this some list of infected files comes up and i delete those files but still the same problem persists.
What to do?? Please help me.. I cannot even any website or anything so that I can download any sypbot or anything.
Help will be appreciated.

Answer Hi Ash,
IE_ANTIVIRUS is a rougue AntiSpyware program.
Heres a link for easy removal from a reputable site.
If this wont work, let me know and you'll have to dnload a program called "Hijack This"
After running it, you'll save the log results and submit them to a help Forum. I usually recommend MajorGeeks Forum.
You'll have to register and then post the log in the Malware section of the Forum.
