Computer Security & Viruses - yahoo cookies

Expert: Doug Woodall - 8/8/2008

Question
i'm using internet explorer 7, just recently, I had  problem signing in with my yahoo account, this message appears " The browser you're using refuses to sign in (cookies rejected)". I thought the problem was with my browser, I did reset my internet explorer, i even deleted the cookies, but the problem was not resolved. I hope you can help me :(

Answer
Hi Kelly,
You may to allow IE to access Yahoo.com now due to a site upgrade.
Try this,
Click on Tools at the top, and then Internet Options. Click on the Privacy tab, and near the bottom you should see a box that says Web Sites; click on the Edit button inside that box. Type in the address of the website you wish to allow cookies from (like www.yahoo.com), and then click the Allow button.

Hope this helps.
