Question
QUESTION: Please help, I have downloaded, and ran the latest version of hijack this and have added the logfile at the end of the message. Specifics on virus(s) are: background image overwritten with Windows Warning Message! Constant popup of Windows Security Alert, constant redirection in browser window to Navigation Blocked title, Insecure Internet activity message page.

I have Spybot S&D but there must be either configuration changes needed, or that itself is not what it seems....
let me know next steps please. Thanks in advance for the assist.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop from here:
http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe
Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  * At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
        o Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
        o and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  * then click Finish.
  * If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  * Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
  * When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  * Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  * When completed, a log will open in Notepad.  Copy that log here, along with a new HJT log.

There is still one infection that is hanging on.  Please download ComboFix and save to your desktop:

   Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop
   Close any open browsers.
   Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
   When it's finished it will produce a log.
   Post the contents of the C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply
   Also post a new HJT log.
   Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running.
   That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

BTW-Spybot is excellent for certain malware.  I use the free Avast! Home Edition as my antivirus, and Malwarebytes for extra security.
