Expert: Doug Woodall - 9/12/2008
Question I inherited a Compaq laptop (w/Windows 2000 Professional) from a previous employer (when they bought me a new one.) The Compaq had been used by someone else before I joined the company and the then Administrator installed Zone Labs Integrity Client 4.5.092.00. Unfortunately, this Zone Lab Firewall interferes with my present A-V (even when I disable it.) And, unfortunately, I can't uninstall it. It's not listed in ADD/REMOVE, and when I try to uninstall in from Program Files or Safe Mode, it asks for the password of the Administrator who installed it. (I don't know who this is or what password they used.) I'd like my present A-V to work properly -- or be able to install a new one, but can't because of this Zone Lab Integrity Client. An online website said the Zone Lab uninstall password was "secret" -- but that didn't work, either. Can you help me? Thanks, Alida
Answer Hi Alida,
Yes the password is secret for the uninstall, but the Installer could have changed to his own password.
You could try a 3rd party uninstaller.
Ive used Revo Uninstaller before with good results.
Heres the link, its freeware.

Hope this helps.
