Computer Security & Viruses/General Question-Wireless

Question
Brian, My daughter has a Dell Vostro Laptop. She could not use the wireless internet at "Barnes and Nobles". I know nothing about this type issue. Any thoughts? Thanks very much!

Answer
Hi Jaye

From what I understand, Barnes and Nobles charges a fee to use the wi-fi service in it's stores.  She should speak to a salesperson who will help set her up using a credit card.  If there is a problem connecting due to the laptop's wireless card, let me know and we can try some troubleshooting steps.  I'll need the full model # and any errors she was receiving.
