Hi Brian happy new year to you too!

Sorry I had to ask a new question and not a follow up, I was no longer allowed to ask a follow up because there were too many follow ups.

Anyway, I did the flush DNS thing. But before that a few days ago ZoneAlarm Pro scans kept stopping at 53% and this error pops up:
"TrueVenctor Service has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Well it's fine if ZoneAlarm can't be fixed or updated I can find another firewall, and I would appreciate it if you could introduce a few good ones to me.

And about AVG fortunately I can still update manually.

To be honest, I never recommend ZA to folks looking for a stand-alone firewall.  I have had nothing but bad experiences...bugs, crashes, using too many system resources, poor customer support, just to name a few.  I recommend Comodo Firewall Pro, and reviews have backed me up on this.  Check it out here:
