Question
Hello Brian,

My problem: Spyware guard 2008.  This program appeard on my computer and I am unable to delete it.  I have malwarebytes, McAfee and Superantispyware installed, but I can not open any of the programs.  When I try to download hijack this, my browser closes.  I tried to run programs in safe mode, no go. I ran adaware, did not solve the problem.  Any help would be great! Thanks.

Answer
Hi Chase

Let's see if we can't get Malwarebytes' running, because it is the best tool to clean out this pest.  Booted in safe mode and uninstall Malwarebytes'. Reboot into safe mode again and install Malwarebytes.  In case you need the link:
http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe
Reboot into safe mode again try running the scan.  You may need to change mbam.exe to something like chase.exe.
If you do manage to get it going, post me the log and a HijackThis log.

Brian
