Computer Security & Viruses/Sereniti active security monitor

Question
Recently downloaded System mechanic professional software. Uninstalled my other security software before doing so, but must have downloaded Sereniti from AOL at some time in the past. couldn't remember what it was for so it is still on my computer. Of course having both programs on my computer is wreaking havoc with it. Cannot see a way to delete the Sereniti program. Do you know how to do this? Right now it pops up with boxes saying "The system cannot locate the object specified Line: 0" and "error - failed to load score.dll" and" dsc.exe dll initialization failed - the application failed to initialize because the window station is shutting down" I have windows XP home version and am pretty much a novice about computer lingo and getting into technical stuff.

Answer
Hi Sharron,

Had a busy weekend. Sorry couldn't get back to you sooner.

Do you see it in Add/Remove programs?

Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307895)

Have you removed any AOL software or Toolbars lately, what AOL software in Add/Remove, and do you want or need the AOL software?
