Computer Security & Viruses/Search Results Redirection

Question
Cheers,
Thank you for you time.  I use Firefox on XP at work and I have been having an issue with Google & Yahoo when I click on one of the found sites of a search I am getting redirected to an advertisement page.  I suspect a malware issue and I have run numerous scans using AVAST!, Malwarebytes and Symantec Endpoint.  Each product has removed an issue but the problem returns after a short time.
Any suggestions on how to kill this nasty for good?  Other than moving to Linux which I use at home.

Bob

Answer
Hi Bob,
If you are at work, I would let your IT staff know about it.
Re-Directs usually take advantage of a weakness that your IT staff needs to know about.
Heres a great site that has a good deal of info about Google and Yahoo re-directs.

Hope this helps.
