Do you have any opinions about this software, and, if so, is it worth the time to install it and use it for scan for holes in security?

I use Secunia PSI, and find it to be a very valuable tool.  For users with many programs installed, it is difficult to keep up with new versions and security patches.  Secunia easily identifies all my installed programs and displays version numbers and security ratings for each one.  The program is always monitoring for updates, yet runs with a very small footprint, so it's good even for older machines.  The best thing about it is that it's free.  Definitely a five-star program.  All the reviews I have seen on it have been positive, so yes, it is worth the time to install and use it.  Hope that helps.  Cheers!
