Computer Security & Viruses/virus on my usb lash

Question

Hi James,

I am facing a problem recently ,each time i want to delete a file from usb or paste a file into the usb a pop up window notify me to remove the write protect or use another hard!!!!
when i scan my usb with the antivirus USB Disk security a threat found called :RECYCLER/autoplay.exe
deletion always failed,,,
also i try to heal it with AVG antivirus but failed again telling me that the disk is write protected

PLEASE need some help

Hi Fadel,

Try turning off System Restore, on XP -  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310405  reboot and run AVG anti-virus again (since it detected it). Attempt to remove it again, hopefully this time permanently or quarantined. If successful, restart System Restore and reboot.

I can help you remove it manually but rather you not try unless you're sure of what you're doing, or myself or another expert helps you, but hopefully the easiest method will work.
