Computer Security & Viruses/CD-RW

Question
I have an E-Machine computer. The CD-RW will not work. There is no small hole to insert a bent paper-clip. It will not eject at all. There is a light that flashes sometimes on the front.Any ideas? Thanks!

Answer
Hi Jaye

Try clicking Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management->Eject
If that does not work, open up your computer while it's off, and unplug the drive from the power source and the motherboard. Restart the computer to let Windows see there is no drive installed.  Now shut down.  Then plug the drive back in.  Turn on your computer, and WIndows will recognize the new hardware and install drivers for it.  It should open now.
