Question
IS there a good anti-virus software that can be down loaded for free; or any thing that will help me prevent damage to my computer and files? Thanks in advance.

Hi Randy

There are several good free AV programs.  I recommend Avast 4 Home as the best of the bunch, but AVG and AntiVir are also good choices.  You should also have a good firewall to ensure a secure internet connection.  For that, I suggest Commodo Firewall Pro.
