Question
Hello James
Some days ago I attached my mp3 player to my computer and
i allowed my antivirus program"avast!" to scan it to find
probable viruses and...
some trojan horses were found and deleted but when i opened
the folder of my mp3 player in my comuter folder, all of my files and folders are considered as protected operating system file.in fact i should to change the setting of folder option"show protected operating system files" to see them.
I would be appreciated it if you could help me to see my informations in normal mode.
thanks

Answer
Hi Pedram,

Not sure what you mean by "normal mode."

The following post: http://malektips.com/xpwex0025.html
gives reasons for showing or hiding protected operating system files, and how to configure.

Basically, it's best to keep them hidden (the default or "normal" mode), unless you're an expert with a good reason to show them.
