QUESTION: Hi Brian, I encountered the problem while scanning the system as image attached, actually, the infected object is called Adware.Minibug, thanks.

ANSWER: Hi Charles

According to Malwarebytes, a reboot will usually solve error 731.  Also, make sure the program is updated to the latest version.  If that doesn't fix it, let me know.

QUESTION: Thanks, Brian.  I did reboot while the problem still existed.  I have also updated to the latest version.  I am thinking would this have anything to do with my computer which has been running high CPU (100% without doing anything) these days.  I did find from task manager that one task called "system" is eating all CPU resource. Not sure if you could also help me on that. Many thanks!

Answer
Hi Charles

Post me a HijackThis scan so I can see what is running.  Some malware can use all your system resources, so let's concentrate on cleaning things up first.  Click Start->Run->type cleanmgr then hit Enter.  After cleaning, download and install HijackThis:

http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/_download/HJTInstall.exe

Make sure you close EVERY open window and ALL browser windows. The only thing that should be open is the HijackThis program.
Double-click on the file you just downloaded.
Click on the "Install" button.
Upon install, HijackThis should open for you.
Should it not open, go to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis and double click on HijackThis.exe
Choose 'Do a system scan and save a log file'.
Copy the text file which opens in Notepad and paste it in your follow-up, along with the Malwarebytes log.
* Do not fix any entries in HijackThis, as they may be harmless.
