Question
Hello Keith,
Yesterday I downloaded a free version of ESET Software NOD32 Trial Download Link... this has now prevented me from opening an existing file in Microsoft PPT.  In trying to open the document, I received a message to "disable" NOD32.. how do I do this?  ... and how do I download this Security software (or others) so it doesn't interfere with my other programs?  Thank you!

Answer
Susan,
I have never used NOD32, but in using many different anti-virus programs, I would say you need to check in the settings of NOD32 and see if there is something blocking certain kinds of files. If there are none and you are not dead set on using NOD32, you could uninstall it and try AVG free edition. It is a very good anti-virus program (in ratings I've seen it is rated higher than NOD32). You can get it here:

Let me know how it goes and if I can help you further.
