Though I've tried many Firewall applications, I recommend visiting reputable Firewall reviews sites like:

and http://www.firewallguide.com/

Cnet.com, comsumersearch.com and pcmag.com also have excellent reviews.

You can find more using a search engine or visiting Gizmo's Freeware, Computer Help Center.

What's best for my system may not be best for you. There's no substitute for reading the reviews, then personally testing one or more you think might work for you. Though there are more than 15, reviewing the top 10-15 is your best bet.
