hi james someone bought me fix-it utilities 9 with 3 user licence i was wondering if this was similar to system mechanic and also if i can put it on more than 3 computers as this is what i want to do

If it's a 3 user license like you say, if you asked them they'd probably say 3's the maximum. I can't speak for them though.

About comparing mechanic and fix-it, looks like they do pretty much the same thing.

Never tried them, but the reviews make both look good in terms of quality (doing what they say they do), safely (without adversely affecting your system).




Update:

Not an expert on applications compatibility issues, or which ones are best. This includes (but is not limited to) Firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware applications. Will no longer answer these questions.
