Operating system Xp media center 2005
Security program, AVG Free Zone alarm Free
Machine is from HP
Okay i'm not sure if this is the right section to post the
question, so you don't have to answer if you wish.
Okay this problem has been driving me nuts, because i have
to stand next to the computer :X... okay here's the problem:
When i turn on the computer, about two seconds later a black
screen shows up it says
Please Select the operating system to start:
Microsoft XP
Microsoft recover console
Use up/down to choose, push enter to select

For advanced options; F8

i can live with it, but it's been annoying because i have to
select enter every time i want to use the computer, how can
i solve this problem and just make the computer load by
itself

Hi ivan,
Noticed your email address as your "public" Questioner name. Hope you haven't had problems (spam) because of that. Consider removing, changing or asking Allexperts to remove/change it.
If you don't think it's an issue, just forget I wrote this. lo...


Try this ivan:  Start > Run > Type: msconfig > OK >
BOOT.INI tab > Check: All Boot Paths button
Restart
Hope that works, but if not, let me know.

Just wondering if you resolved the problem. There are other things you can do, but I thought the easiest might work.
