Question
due to some virus i m not able to open the hard drives.. an open with dialog box appears when i try to open the drives.. i am not able to solve the even after formatting and scanning through free antiviruses.. provide me a solution

Hi Raja,

If you have an anti-virus (AV) program installed, start Windows in Safe Mode and run a scan.

If there is no AV program installed, download the trial version Norton AntiVirus 2009 from:

Put that onto a CD, then install on your computer, run a virus scan.

If that doesn't work, take the PC to the local repair shop, have them backup anything of importance and reinstall Windows for you.

Once you have a clean PC, install an AV program, keep it up to date and run a scan once a week.
