ANSWER: Hi Tom
The firewall that comes with Windows is very basic. If you use Kaspersky Internet Security, it comes with a better firewall. If you only have Kaspersky Anti-Virus, then you should get a separate firewall, such as the free Comodo Firewall:

In order to completely remove Norton, you must use their removal tool. This is not a trial program, as you mention, but is free to use. If you have been asked to pay for it, then it is not the correct product. Choose your Norton product and download the proper removal tool from here:

If you need to remove programs you are not sure about, use the free Revo Uninstaller, which can be found here:

Let me know if you have further questions.

QUESTION: I CANT FIND NORTON ON MY COMPUTER TO CLICK ON IT TO START REMOVAL TOOL i thought i removed it cant i access my firewall programs and just disable norton without removing it totally any way?
AnswerHi Tom
You cannot have more than one anti-virus program on your computer at one time. If you have Kaspersky, you MUST remove Norton. Download and run the tool from the link I gave you. You do not need to find Norton on your computer first...the removal tool does that for you.
