Question
After running AVG, 78 tracking cookies were found. While these do not pose a threat, should I be concerned. What would you recommend? Thank you very much!

Answer
Hi Jaye

It's not uncommon to have a large number of tracking cookies on your system, especially if you do a lot of browsing.  Tracking cookies are just small text files that web sites use to track where you go on the internet.  They're generally harmless to a computer, but you are correct to scan and delete them regularly for privacy and security issues.  Also, it never hurts to get a second opinion from another anti-spyware app.  Download and run the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from here:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
The program is safe to run alongside AVG.  After installing, run a full system scan.  If any other infections exist, MBAM will find them.  Hope that helps.  Cheers!
