Computer Security & Viruses - Malicious Code

Expert: Doug Woodall - 8/25/2009

Question
I apparently got a virus on my desktop computer.  I went and bought Norton Antivirus 2009 and installed it.  Afterwards it said my computer was clean.  Now when I go online to Aol it tells me the this page has a Malicious Code.  But when I go to Yahoo it doesn't say that...plus a few other websites.  What is wrong?  Should I reinstall everything?

Answer
Hi Brenda,
Sounds like a conflict between the two products as AOL uses McAfee AntiVirus for their customers.
Go to Norton customer support and use their chat or email them to get the proper settings for your Norton so it wont conflict.

Heres the link.

Hope this helps.
