Hi Brian,

During a frustrating moment using my PC I ended up purchasing the ParetoLogic (RegCure) power pack product for $39.95. Somehow I also ended up with CC Cleaner.

My question is, I currently have McAfee Anti-virus software (free through my internet provider)that "seems" to do the same things as the RegCure and CC Cleaner (clean registry, scan your PC, fix errors etc).

Do I have 3 products that all do the same things here? If so, I want to know so I can get my money refunded from RegCure.

The funny thing here is that I also was taken in by ParetoLogic and enticed into purchasing a suite of products including RegCure.  Maybe they use subliminal advertising?  Anyway, their products do work, but in your case, CCleaner does the same thing for nothing.  McAfee is a virus scanner, which is a completely different animal.  CCleaner will safely delete junk files and also contains a registry cleaner to remove bad entries.  RegCure does the same thing, but includes a scheduler.  $39.95 for a scheduler is, to put it frankly, a rip-off.  I did not try for my money back because I needed the DriverCure program that came with the suite, but I did feel a bit taken.  Lesson learned.  Request a refund from:
