Question
I have a hp scanjet 3500c scanner which I used to scan pictures into my computer. Now when I try to scan a picture the picture only shows a black image.  The light does flash as usual...What have I done wrong?  Thanks in advance..

hi Rita

well there could be several reasons for that. please try these and report back:

-try connecting the scanner to a different usb port. if possible also replace usb cable
-try connecting scanner to another computer and see if it does the same thing
