QUESTION: James,
Do you use Log-me-In ? If you do, I will give you access and let you take a good look at the problem that I am having with this goggle redirect virus or I can just download the Hijackthis and run it and shoot it to you....your choice.

ANSWER: We use a different remote server. The HiJackthis log is fine, but please consider what I said about Cookie configuration changes and 3rd party cookies (Prompt of Block) and last "revised" post previous question, and maybe a different browser like Firefox, for testing. It's either the browser or something on you system - that's what I'm trying to narrow down, a combination of cookies, activeX and possibility spyware (though we'll check again for that later using another tool, if we need to).

As a rule, I don't analyze these logs because I'm the only one reviewing it - more than one is best in my opinion. Have just a little more spare time. If you want to keep something listed above, please do. Reboot, review log.  

Or, submit to a forum with more than one expert review, then decide what to do next.

The Machine Debug Manager, Mdm.exe, is a program that is installed with the Microsoft Script Editor to provide support for program debugging. The Microsoft Script Editor is included with Microsoft Office 2000, and also can be obtained from the Microsoft Windows Update Web site.
