Question
I have an older computer that the disc drive has stopped working. Can I repair it and how? It is running windows 97/98"
You cannot repair a hard disk. The best thing to do is get a new one that is compatible. More than likely one running Windows 98 will be a IDE or ATA drive. You can shop for one on www.tigerdirect.com.
For a computer that old my best advice is to buy a new one.
