Question
i am using avg free adition at the momoent, but i clicked on a link i know know to be a virous, im having probs doing things like changing pic and when i start up it seems to stutter the start up tune, i suspect i may have a virous from that link and avg not picked it up, my question is, is there a better free anti virous i can use and is there a good free virous removal tool i can run now just incase????

Technically what you have is most likely not a virus. It is some other kind of malware such as a trojan horse. If you have the ability to get on line, download and install malwarebytes ( www.malwarebytes.org ). After installing, update it and then run a scan. It should find the problem and fix it. AVG is the best anti-virus I have ever used but it only detects and removes viruses.
If you are unable to do the above because it is failing to load or some other error you may have to run the program in safe mode. If you are unfamiliar with safe mode or want more detailed instructions, get back to me with a follow-up.
