QUESTION: Hi Brian,
I'm running XP SP3 with IE7.  Recently I installed and am running Msft Security Essentials.  Should I continue to use Comodo, Ad-Aware and Spybot?

ANSWER: Hi Brooks

Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D will not interfere with Microsoft Security Essentials.  In fact, the extra security they offer enhances the protection of MSE.  You don't say which Comodo product you are using.  If you refer to the firewall program, then you may continue to use it along with MSE.  If you are using the Comodo anti-virus software, then you should uninstall Comodo.  Running more than one anti-virus at a time will lead to system instability and crashes.  One final bit of advice: You should upgrade to IE8, as the latter offers security enhancements and fixes not available in IE7.  Hope that helps.  Cheers!

Hi Brooks

No problem.  Comodo Internet Security has an anti-virus along with a firewall.  You will need to uninstall the entire suite, then if you wish, download and install the firewall as a separate component.  Here's the download link:
