Computer Security & Viruses/Re: Cookies on site

Question
So I run the website www.ithp.org.  Recently someone told me that when they visited the site they received some cookies deposited on their computer to track their web surfing activity.  I'm pretty sure that can't be true because I NEVER put any tracking software on the site. Could it be from Google Analytics?    Any guess or anything at all would be extremely helpful!!!

Answer
It could be from anywhere. It could be from Google Analytics if it says in the EULA. Visit the site yourself from a known clean machine and then run an anti-spyware scan with something like Malwarebytes www.malwarebytes.org . See what comes up and check out the log. You will probably be able to tell where problems are coming from by reading this information.
