QUESTION: Hi Doug,
Do you know what this is: C:WINDOWSmsvideo.dll (virus?)
I keep getting a pop up saying the application is not valid or something like that. And my user mode keeps popping up do you know if these are linked to each other some way?

Its a variation on many different types of scams to get you to buy a fake fix and possibly hijack your computer or infect it.

Use this link to remove a popular free program thats easy to use and fixes a lot of these scams,

The directions are easy and will do a great job.

QUESTION: Hi, Doug
Well I downloaded the program and followed the directions but it's done nothing. It I cleaned them and everything in safe mode then rebooted the computer, but it's still popping up.

Then I suggest the program "Hijack This".

This should fix it and as a bonus, the program creates a log file that can be uploaded to a help forum if need be.
