Question
Can you inform me of the essential laptop virus protection
software that I require? I do not know anything about
laptops, but also do not want to pay lots of money for it.

I have the Free AVG Download, Free spyware terminator and
Free spyware doctor. What other protection do i need.

The only program I would add is Zone Alarm, a free firewall available from:

Regarding AVG, keep it up to date and run a scan once a week.

This happens to be of interest to me as it boggles my mind that people have nothing better to do than to write a virus. Wish these people, the ones who write viruses would put the knowledge to good use instead. My job as a local tech involves removing viruses and/or spyware.
