Hi Brian,
About 2 weeks ago you had told me to install the HijackThis program and save the logfile, and send it to you well I did and didn't receive an answer from you so just wondering if you remember and if you can still help with my problem. Thanks in advance.

According to the site log, an answer was sent out on 8/7 to your question on 8/4.  It's possible it was intercepted by a spam filter, but here is the answer I wrote:

Hi Rod

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, as I've been away for a few days.  Let's try and remove the offending file.  Start HijackThis and run a Scan Only.  Place a check mark in the box next to the following entry:

O18 - Filter hijack: text/html - {ba87c3bc-1cf1-4e51-87f3-60680037f49a} - C:\WINDOWS\msvideo.dll

Now close any open browser windows and then click the Fix Checked button.  Reboot.
Next, go to the following site to run the Kaspersky Online Scan:

http://www.kaspersky.com/kos/english/languages/english/check.html?n=128121249412...

Follow the instructions, and when completed, copy the Scan Report to me.
