hi from ireland brian
got a serious bug brian it wont let me run restore, wont let me run hijack this, wont let me scan with malwarebytes
cant do anything in safemode
this one is really nasty
it wont let me download any file from the net
please help brian as i dont want to format

This does sound nasty, but if Windows is so corrupted, there may be no choice but to do a reinstall.  Are you able to run an online virus scan such as the one from here:

http://www.eset.com/online-scanner

If that does not work, and you have access to another computer, burn a copy of the Avira AntiVir Rescue System:

http://dlpro.antivir.com/package/rescue_system/common/en/rescue_system-common-en...

Just double-click on the rescue system package to burn it to a CD/DVD. You can then use this CD/DVD to boot your computer.  The disc can repair damaged files and scan for infected ones.

Aside from that, as I mentioned before, the last resort is to reinstall Windows.  But if you are able to get the computer working well enough, and need help removing the infections, just let me know.  Go n-éirí leat.
