Question
yes i got a virus on my computer and i tried to fix it myself but i have messed it up i can not got to safe mode that no longer shows up. I can't even see my start menu. can you tell me how to wipe my pc clean so i can have it back i do have the windows vista cd to reinstall it please help i do work off of here and the computer guy wants to charge 200 for it
Hi Charity
You should be able to repair your computer using the Vista boot disc and the Startup Repair Utility. Step-by-step instructions can be found here:

Once you get it booting normally again we can work on the virus problem. If Startup Repair fails to work, then you can reinstall the operating system using the instructions below:
