Question
my computer got infected by many viruses....
now all i can do is turn on the computer because when i try to open something it doesn't let me...
something pops up and tell me i have a virus but when i click to clear the virus it tells me i have to update me my anti-virus but the Internet wont load...

Hi Victoria,

If you cannot open Internet Explorer, the best bet would be to backup anything of importance, reformat and reinstall Windows. The following site explains how to at:

If you don't feel safe doing that, take your computer to the local repair shop and have them do it for you.

This happens to be of interest to me as it boggles my mind that people have nothing better to do than to write a virus. Wish these people, the ones who write viruses would put the knowledge to good use instead. My job as a local tech involves removing viruses and/or spyware.
