Question
Hi,
I am a home user of an hp desktop.  I am the only one using it(it runs win 7).  Do I need any network services or processes running or can i disable them?  I've got a lot of crap running and i just want to stop all remote stuff and whatnot.  Just wondering what I can safely disable.  I am not connected to any other computer.  Just to the internet via dsl.  Hope you get what i'm rambling on about.  I have a good firewall, antivirus and two different antimalware/spyware programs going with no issues.  Call me paranoid.

Answer
hi amanda

well disabling services and processes could make your windows unstable. if you want me to help you take note of the services and startup items by invoking MSCONFIG.EXE (go to start > run and type MSCONFIG.EXE )

I will tell you which are safe to turn off ...

hope i was of help - pls rate my answer thanks
