Can you elaborate a little more on this please -- Some say that AntiVirus and AntiSpyware exists only to counteract Viruses and Spyware and vice versa. In other words, its a made niche to benefit each other.

Hello Fred,

In many ways, it is self supporting. But Viruses and Spyware were invented to do harm, so there must be some sort of protection against them. There are Antivirus and AntiSpyware programs out there that are made to do harm, disguised as protection which is sad.
So my opinion, you need to have some protection. Which is why I use a reliable AntiVirus and AntiSpyware program.
