Question
yesterday i was on the computer and i was look for a picture on Google images, i clicked on an image and suddenly an alert came up saying i had 18 viruses, the program that told me was a windows company called system defender, i installed a virus remover that seemed pretty reliable and it did a scan saying i had no viruses so i downloaded another thing and it also said i had no viruses, do you think it was just one of window's scams to get me to buy their product?
thanks :)

Answer
Sounds like many of the fake anti-virus trojans that are out there. Most anti-virus programs do not detect and/or remove them. Go to this link, download, install, update, and run a scan with Malwarebytes. It will detect and remove most all malware, spyware, trojans, etc. Here is the link: http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

Let me know how it goes.
