Question
Hey Lorry,
I was wondering which free antivirus program have a good real time firewall as well as a good virus database. I am currently using the Free Avast 2011 software, and not sure if its the best out there.

Hi Dave,
I would suggest staying with Avast, as the anti-virus program and ZoneAlarm for a great free firewall. You may download ZoneAlarm Free Firewall from:

Make sure you keep Avast up to date and run a scan once a week.

This happens to be of interest to me as it boggles my mind that people have nothing better to do than to write a virus. Wish these people, the ones who write viruses would put the knowledge to good use instead. My job as a local tech involves removing viruses and/or spyware.
