Question
Hi Lorry,
Yes, even though I've just skimmed the sites they look quite beneficial.  Thanks.

I do have another question:

Before I delete anything, is there a way that I can view what's located on the hard drive?  Keep in mind that I'm not a computer-tech.

Thanks,
Nancy

Answer
Hi Nancy,

I would open Windows Explorer, view the files/folders that I might want to shred, verify those are the ones I want deleted and then use the Shredder.

Check out the following for more information:

6 Select the files you want to shred. You can erase the Temporary Internet Files or the contents of the Recycle Bin, or you can erase specific files by clicking on "Browse" and finding them on your hard drive.

7 Double-check the files and make sure it's alright for them to be permanently deleted. When you're ready to begin shredding, click "Finish."

I can answer most questions regarding viruses/Trojans and help to remove them.

Experience

This happens to be of interest to me as it boggles my mind that people have nothing better to do than to write a virus. Wish these people, the ones who write viruses would put the knowledge to good use instead. My job as a local tech involves removing viruses and/or spyware.
