Question
Im not sure if this is in your area, I would think it would be but anyway, Im technologically illiterate so to speak and wanted to know if the random blinking on my router are potential viruses, I heard that its just internet traffic or whatever. I have the latest version of Norton antivirus on my computer as well as the vista firewall on. And everything seems to be fine, I just wanted to know if I should be worrying about hackers and also what signs I can look for to see if hackers have hijacked my computer.

No worries. The LED lights you see blinking are just visual representations of data moving through your router. They just tell you that things are working as they should be. Panda Labs has a good list of signs to watch for on an infected computer:

As long as your computer is not having any of these symptoms, you are most likely secure. Hope that helped.
