Computer Security & Viruses/problem regarding http and https

Question
Sir I have been through this strange kind of problem from few days ,sometimes my network goes bad such that i am unable to open any website using http protocol only the sites which provide https protocol could be opened and even the download manager(IDM) is being unable to download but bittorrent downloads harmlessly ,I have updated all my drivers checked windows(xpsp3) for errors ,but i don,t have a single clue ,i am using avast internet security 6.0.1367 and i have observed that any particular application is not causing this ,problem comes like an anvil.

1. What is your system and could you be using a licensed version + "crack" (a pirated version) by mistake?

2. Do you have any other security applications running in the background. For example, do you have another security bundle (like Avast) that came with your PC and might be running in the background?

b) Install another another app like free (or full) version Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware, Windows Defender of Emisoft (all on http://enrgy21.com). It could be spyware or some other form of malware Avast isn't detecting. If you do this, make sure to disable features that it to run at startup or allows it to run full time in the background - to it won't conflict with Avast.

3. How long have you used Avast without a problem  -  weeks/months or soon after installation?

4. Any chance it could be a problem with your Internet Service Provider - cable, wireless...?
