Answer
Hello Clarence

Happy New Year!  Let's try and get this log straightened out.  Open HijackThis and click to run a scan only.  After the scan, place a check mark next to the following entries, then click Fix:

O2 - BHO: MSS+ Identifier - {0E8A89AD-95D7-40EB-8D9D-083EF7066A01} - C:\Program Files\McAfee Security Scan\3.8.141\McAfeeMSS_IE.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: Windows Live Family Safety Browser Helper - {4f3ed5cd-0726-42a9-87f5-d13f3d2976ac} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {CCC7A320-B3CA-4199-B1A6-9F516DD69829} - (no file)
O23 - Service: McAfee Security Scan Component Host Service (McComponentHostService) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\McAfee Security Scan\3.8.141\McCHSvc.exe (file missing)

After fixing, restart the computer.  Download AdwCleaner from here:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

Run the program, click Scan, wait until done, then click Clean.

Restart the computer and copy and paste the log from AdwCleaner in a reply to me.
