Computer Security & Viruses/Problems with Internet Explorer

Question
Hi Brian,

I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you.  I hurt my hip last week and am just now able to get on the computer.

I noticed that I still get redirected using IE when I go to the Vonage account. On the last try it shows me the page I want to go to briefly and then goes to another page.

I ran Malwarebytes as you suggested and got the following log.

Answer
Hi Steven

Sorry to hear of your injury.  Hope you feel better.  I think we need to do some house cleaning first.  Download and install CCleaner from here:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/get/ccleaner_slim,1.html

Run the program.  Click the Analyze button, wait for the scan to finish, then click the Clean button.  When it's finished, go to the Registry tab in the program, click Check for Issues, then after the scan click to Fix.  Click OK to back up your registry if it asks.

After it's all done, close the program and open your browser to:

http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/

Click to run the online scanner.  Follow the instructions and send me a follow up with results when it's done.
