Question
Notification Tray
Notification Tray
Hello. I had a virus on my computer, which came bundled w/adware, malware, trojans, etc, and I scanned with SpyHunter, MalwareBytes, SuperAntiSpyware and 2 others (I forgot the names). Seemingly, they are gone. I scanned twice with each one, made sure they were updated and they all came back clean.

BUT...while the viruses seem to have been removed from the system, there are virus icons still visible in my system tray area (Notifications area). How do I remove them?

Seems like they left a lot of residue. Thanks!

The virus names in the image:
dnspawcatuck.exe
Tammy_Sytch_YouShoot_Download_downloader.exe
maxdu.exe
AmazonMeter.Notification.exe

Answer
I don't think the problem is gone. Try a program called combofix. You can get it from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com /
You don't install combofix, just download it, save to your desktop, double-click it, and let it run. It should remove the problem
