Computer Security & Viruses/changing antivirus programs

Question
My free avast is about to expire & I want to change over to a different program, so first is what do you recommend as the best FREE replacement these days? I also have malwarebytes installed but when I run a scan it never shows any errors eventhough I'm constantly getting attacked. Here are a few registered examples:
93.174.93.203 from Port 1900
94.102.52.10 from port 1900
192.185.4.54 from Port 55823

Recently in opening up new pages I also get a page with a beeping sound with a Warning to call a number that I have a virus. That's also happened on the work computers too! My boss called the number once & she was told just to close the page, so that's what I do at home now.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Answer
Hi Tina

I'm sorry that I never was notified of your question waiting for me.  If you still require my help, I will be happy to assist you.  For free antivirus, you can renew avast, or install something else, but please make sure to completely remove avast first.  They make a tool to do just that here:

https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility

As for other free programs, I like Avira, as it has top detection rates:

The warnings you are getting is a phishing attempt to call the number for "technical support", which will then proceed to charge you money to put malware on your system.  Most likely there is a browser extension that can be considered malware running on your system.  Try running AdwCleaner and see if anything is detected:

Let me know if you need further assistance.
