Good Morning.  In the right hand corner where the little grey AOL icon is it will keep reappearing every few minutes where like 20 minutes into the session i will have like 10 or 15 AOL icons.  Also when im shutting down the computer a screen will pop up saying that a program with a # sign then a four number sequence will pop up telling me to wait for it to shut down or shut it down and lose all information.  Could you please help explain what might have happened.  I have ran AOL virus scanner and Ad-Aware but nothing come up. One possibility is that you might have installed several newer versions of AOL software as each of these became available. If you didn't uninstall the old versions, you might have several of them running at once. If this is the problem, you can find out by bringing up Task Manager with ctrl-alt-del. Click on the Applications tab and look for versions of AOL. If you see several of them, use the End Task button to end all of them except one. Then go to Control Panel, choose the Add or remove programs option, and uninstall all the versions except the most recent.

If this doesn't work, please let me know and we can explore other options.
