Question
CAROL
I WAS USING NORTONS ANTI VIRUS 2004 ON THIS COMPUTER IT DETECTED ABOUT 100 VIRUSES AND IT SAID IT ONLY FIXED 2 I WASNT AROUND FOR THE FINISH OF IT  SO WHAT GOOD IS IT IF IT ONLY FIXED 2  ALSO IS AVG ANTIVIRUS BETTER THAN NORTONS

Answer
Don't worry, your computer is safe. When Norton says it fixes a virus, that means the virus was contaminating a file that you would want it to save. In the cases where Norton didn't "fix" a virus, it found a file such as an attachment to an email that was 100% pure virus. So there was nothing left to save and Norton simply deleted the virus.
